BB: Our little ninja!

I am 22 wks today. The last belly pic I posted was at 18 wks.

Here is my bump 4 weeks later, at 22 weeks:

I can feel BB move consistently every day. The kicks and jabs are getting stronger and more frequent.

Yesterday, I was in SLC and was in sitting up in bed, reading. I was using a small piece of paper as a bookmark and it was resting on my stomach as I read. (BTW, the book was "The Shack".)

Out of the corner of my eye, I see the paper move the slighest bit. Then I see it move again!

So I put down the book and just watch BB go to town, moving the paper with the kicks and punches. It was so so cool. I could feel the movements and watch at the same time! If I put my hands on my belly, I could feel the kicks as well. Lewis hasn't felt them yet, but I'm sure it will be soon. BB seems to know someone else's hands besides my own are on my stomach and stops moving.

The baby appointment this morning went well. The doctor found the heartbeat as soon as she put the doppler device on me. Loud and clear, and once again, for the 4th appt in a row, it was 140. Oh, and at every appointment, I get weighed. I gained an obscene 8 pounds since my last visit, which was 4 weeks ago. I asked the doctor about it and she wasn't concerned. I'm still in the normal range of weight gain. Hopefully, we won't have another month like this past one. :)

If you haven't taken my "is it a boy or a girl?" survery, please cast your vote!

Just read your blog. It is so much fun when you can see and feel the baby kick!

I am glad your baby appointment went well. That BB sure has a fast little heartbeat!

I have read "The Shack". Very GOOD! Elizabeth read it right after me. She like it, too! I might just have to read it again.

You asked what PG did to my teeth. I never had a cavity big enought to get filled until after I got pregnant with Haleigh. I don't know exactly what it is but a lot of women say that. I don't know if it's the hormonal changes or the beebs' need for calcium. Not sure. Even the tech yesterday said that there seems to be a link for some reason. Away it's different with every pregnancy. With Autumn I was fine. Just took a long time to get the teeth back to healthy. Although procrastination didn't help much either!

I agree, you do have a very cute baby belly there. Oh...those little kicks are so amazing and so much fun. I was constantly in awe, and it was fun when one time, one of our college students was sitting next to me and saw my whole belly shift from one side to the other. He looked at me with these huge eyes and said, "Whoa!" I was like, "I know!"
