Is YOUR seatbelt fastened?

So yesterday I had the strangest thing happen to me on the plane.

We were going from TPA to HOU and we had about 70ish people on board. I was working in the back. When we first push off the gate, we do the emergency demo to all the passengers on EVERY flight.

At one point, the flight attendant's do a "walk through" to make sure all seatbelts are fastened, all tray tables and seat backs are in the full upright and locked position, all carryon items are stowed properly, and that all portable electronic devices are turned off. Yes, as in OFF. Not as in airplane mode or game mode. Those "modes" are allowed once we reach 10,000 feet; not when we are still on the ground.

When I do my walk through, I very quickly scan all the "essential areas" the waist, the seat, the tray, the floor around the feet. It all takes a split second.

So yesterday, as I neared the back of the plane there was an older man, about 40ish, in the next to last row. As I walked past him, he flashed me. Yes. As in grabbed the bottom of his t-shirt with both hands and lifted it high, almost covering his face.

At first, I was like, "What?!? Did he just flash me?! Were his pants unbuttoned and I just happened to thankfully miss that part?!?! OMG, what am I going to do?!?"
(P.S. This HAS happened on a flight before. Just not to me.) Here and here are what happened because of it.

I was about to confront the man and ask him exactly what did he think he was doing and in no way do we tolerate that behavior. Then, a second thought entered my mind.

He was only lifting his shirt up to show me that his seatbelt was fastened.

So I let it go and continued my walk through and the rest of the flight was uneventful. But everytime I passed him, I got the awful image of a white, hairy belly hanging over muffin-top style.
