I love killing two birds with one stone. Or three birds, or four. To be honest, I've never killed a bird in my life. But if I had to, I would. I've touched a dead bird, though. But then again, here, I am talking about the cliche. See, I told you I could go off on a tangent. Anyways......
Today, my chest swells with pride at what I have accomplished. (You should see it. Normally it's not so swollen. My sisters share the same fate unfortunately. Thank goodness for Victoria's Secret!) But I must give props to my friend Lisa for her help. She "flipped"my trip. WOO HOO!! I'd explain what "flipping" a trip is, but it's complicated. And unless you are a flight attendant, you'd never understand. But it's a good thing. Trust me. It means you get paid time and a half!!!Lisa is also expecting her first child sometime in the next two weeks. If it's a girl, she's naming it after me. I wish........
I mentioned in another post that lots of variables go into deciding when and what I work. Today, it appears that I mixed it just right. Kinda like Baby Bear and his porridge. It's juuuusssstttt right. I had three things I needed to accomplish. 1) Get in a workout with Jesus the Trainer. 2) Get to Amarillo by Friday morning so I can drive to Lubbock with Karol. Taking into account if I could actually get there. Seats are WIDE open. 3) Work something so I don't have to cram later.
So I found it. A trip that checks in around 1400. It's only a 2 day That means I'm only working 2 days. Plenty of time to get a workout in here in STL before I commute up to MDW. Long enough overnight to workout in Portland (PDX). I'm working in the back, so no having to smile until my teeth go dry. And it pays boohoos of money! And I can still get to Amarillo (AMA) by noon on Friday. Wow. Am I good or what?!?! Thanks again Lisa!!
Just though I'd share. Continue whatever you were doing.
Elisa
