9 months

9 months stats:

31 inches long  95%
18 inch head circumference 95%
21 lbs 13 oz  75%

In 9 month news:

Bishop is in size 4 diapers.

He still has not one.single.tooth.  He does drool, but not as much as he used to.  He certainly likes to chew on things.

He is perfecting his pincher grasp.

Bishop is solidly in 12 mo clothes, even some 18 mo.

Here is a brief summary of his eating and sleeping schedule:

7:30 am:  8 oz bottle.

9:00 am:  Stage 3 container of pureed fruit.

9:30 am:  Nap (45-90 minutes)

11:45 am:  Stage 3 container of pureed vegetables

1:00 pm:  8 oz bottle and goes down for a nap (1-2 hours)

5:00 pm:  Dinner - 2 containers of purees. I want to get him on more solid foods, but he doesn't seem to ingest much when they are given to him.  I don't want him to be hungry, so I stick with the purees.  I am ready to be done with them.

6:00 pm:  Snack while the rest of us eat dinner (Cheerios, cheese, noodles, a little bit of whatever we are having.

7:00 pm:  Bath and another 8 oz bottle. Then bedtime!

He sleeps through the night to the point I no longer wonder if it's a fluke.  I am sooooo glad. Finally!

He can sit well, but I wouldn't say perfect.  He falls once in a blue moon.  And sometimes he can sit for what seems like forever.  He's not too big on rolling.  He can do it, but apparently it's not a big deal to him.  He can push up with his arms really high.  If he'd learn to move his knees, he'd be crawling.

He is good in the car in his carseat.  Rarely cries anymore.

Bishop is babbling a lot more.  He likes to do what I call his "dinosaur screech".  A bit more consanant sounds.

He is still mesmerized by his big brother.  And his big brother "wubs" him.

Falls asleep at naps and at night like a CHAMP.  Lay him down in the crib, give him a pacifier, and boom...he takes care of the rest.

I love this kid.  I can't believe how fast time is flying!
